had a rage tek standard billet input shaft but a second gear breakage took it out, so now I'm using the rage tek accelerator billet input shaft...def worth the $1200

Re: Current Project: 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 "Project SPOOLNUP"

havent really updated this thread in awhile...its been a year with alot of downs and no ups it seems...we have had some problems, with the last being third gear taking a dump on us and ending my tranny........so back to point a....till I came across this deal:

Forward Motion Fully Built 3 speed auto for the srt-4....came with all the goodies including dss stage 5 axles, very nice converter with 4500 stall, and some other nice things...

figuring the 50 trim wouldn't be cutting it anymore, I saw its potential and enjoyed it, but time for bigger and better things:

so in with the new hotness, Borg Warner S360 RS (60mm, 69lbs/min)

Got tired of the usual exhaust, so needswings provided me with my new exhaust:

since I got the turbo on a great deal, nigel went ahead with his new turbo, Borg Warner S366....this is pictured beside a 50t

and my old flat black drifz weren't cutting it for me on my slicks, so I contacted mh, got a fresh set of 24.5/8.5/15 drag slicks, and waiting on weld to send me my new 15x8.25 import drag magnums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Car should be up and running this weekend, wish us luck, I will be at mopar thunder at bristol on friday doing the open tnt, it will be my first time back on the 1/4 since we went 11.21 @ 129mph at the rock....come out and check out the car and have fun

Re: Current Project: 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 "Project SPOOLNUP"

There's an Integra down here running a BW s366 that currently holds the track record for an import (1000' track, not 1320')...8.70 @ 124.5 mph, roughly a low 10 at 135-140mph. Good luck with the build man, should make good power. I'm honestly not a big fan of the auto trans, but I do understand that it's faster.

Most dsmlink guys trap 144 to 154 in the 66mm. The 72 and 74mm make retarded power.

yeah I wasn't gonna go auto till I finally blew out that last 5 speed...unless you go with a dogbox or something of that nature, its just gonna keep tearing up and I got that auto pretty cheap but its fighting back itself along with the e85...hopefully have dyno #s soon
