The carpet in my Sentra was really nice and clean when I got the car 3 years ago. Working a previous job where I came out with oil/dirt covered shoes, and me being careless ruined that though.
Just wondering what's the best method to go about cleaning it? I don't mind pulling the carpet out to clean it if needed

Take it out and go to the car wash and soak it down with some kind of degreaser (sp?) and let it sit for a few min (this works better if you have a truck and car soak it for a hour and then go to the car wash) then spray it out really good. I have done this quite a few times with great results when the carpet was too dirty to clean it in the car.

i use tide laundry detergent and take it to the car wash and hang it up on the hooks and take the high pressure to it after i scrub it down with the tide ..
