okay i have a panel that needs to be painted on my 92 300zx. I searched a bit but can't find much on a good shop. My car is glacier white pearl. I think its bad work done before so i'm not sure if even somebody had that color it would match up that good. I guess they have computurs now though that can match it up just right. Just needs painted. price is not a big factor. Just want it done, and done right. If i'm gonna pay for it to be done i want it worth it. Anyways, just curious of a place anyone can reccomend or if anyone thats good and does it on the side that'd be fine too. Just want it done good. Let me know. :ack:

Anyone know of any body shops that they have been to or heard of doing good body and paint work for a decent price. I am looking for shops other than forum sponsors I already know about the sponsors. I want to know about places ppl have been to or know first hand that they do good work.

The problem is that anyone good isnt going to do it for a cheap price......Cheap equals halfassed and cheap materials used...

To do a all over on a car today with GOOD basecoat and GOOD clear will cost from $450-$800 plus in just materials.....The clear i like to uses is $150 a gallon without hardener

I just told him about some of the paint work I saw on Spunky's accord and Brandon's red civic hatch.

His airbrushing is great. Paint and prep leaves a little to be desired.

Both were painted in a basement..lol.

Last few jobs I have seen have been excellent. But, it's not my battle with you guys..lol

theres a guy in marion va. that is very VERY reasonably priced and does the best work around...period...no runs, no dust, no fla, no haze, absolutly no orange peel, he will give you your choice of clear, price depending on quality/warranty of the clear (he will explain) and he has the paint electronically matched so it will blend...his name is billy weddle, if anyone needs his number just pm me..i wouldnt put the word out about him if i wasnt absolutly possitive that he will do the best work and for a very fair price...
i am VERY picky about my paint, he is the only person i will let touch my car...
