I got this a few weeks back with just over 18,000 miles (for $3,500) and I've ridden about 300 miles since I picked it up. It's my first bike ever. It's an absolute blast even though I'm just taking it easy and riding well within my comfort zone. . .which isn't very big. Finally put my own touches on it and took some proper shots of it tonight.

Photographer's Note: These are my first bike shots ever. It's much easier to light a bike (I was using a single Nikon SB-28 firing into an umbrella) but harder to get good angles compared to a car, in my opinion.

Thanks guys. Yeah Matt, #1 and #5 are my favorites although I think I like #1 the best just by a little bit.

It's a real blast. This is the fastest thing I've owned by far. I take it easy through the curves and pretty much everywhere else too, but I have pinned it a few times in a straight line. Below 7,000 RPMs it's nothing spectacular, just enough oomph to move. From 7,000-10,000 RPMs it feels fast as hell...as fast as any car I've ever owned. From 10,000 RPMs to redline it's absolutely insane though. It feels like I hit warp speed or something. I literally feel like I'm holding on for dear life. I've been in some pretty fast cars, 130+ MPH traps, but I've never felt anything comparable to what this bike feels like up in the powerband. It scares the shit out of me.

If this little thing feels like this I can't imagine what a liter bike feels like pinned in the meat of the powerband.

It's a pretty amazing feeling. Glad to see you like riding for sure, if I can get this car sold tomorrow like I'm hoping then I'll be back on a bike next week.

Checking now Scooter. I need a stand.

For the first few times out I didn't get it past 10k, probably in the 8k range where the power really started to kick in I'd let out. After a few rides I wound it out through the first three gears to redline (14k). I've probably only got just over the triple digit mark in speed, most of the time I just cruise the speed limit or slowly carve through some curves. I'm very much still getting the feel of being on a bike and getting the feel for this particular bike too.
