I hadn't ridden the bike in around 3 weeks and decided to go fire it up today. Took off and the damn thing is missing like crazy. When you start accelerating it is fine then all the sudden it starts bucking and missing like crazy, the higher up in the gears the worse it gets. I put it in third going around 40mph and laid in to it and didn't really accelerate as it just bogged and missed and then all the sudden it would take off for a second or two at full power then start missing and bogging again. I had a bottle of octane booster laying around so I threw it in there just out of curiousity to see if it would help, but of course it changed nothing. Any ideas?

it could be bad gas, bad plugs or maybe somthing in the fuel line. im not sure if those bikes have fuel filters but i would change it if it does.
i would drain the gas, get new plugs, and change the fuel filter (if it has one).

Have you made sure that that no one has fucked with your gas again?

That is what i would do first if that doesnt fix it i would get the carbs checked out.

Had the same problem when i had the 94 cbr. i would check the fuel line and make sure its not moving and pinching, and make sure the petcock is working under the tank for starters.
yeah, it really sounds like a fuel problem, bad gas or carbs blocked off, but if thats not it i would say it would be in ur firing, starting with ur plugs.... i dont think the coil or ignition nor the air flow would have ne thing to do with it,
