I had a different schedule, so who knows what is right, I don't think they are going by a strict schedule or guideline with releasing them....i'm just hoping to get mine soon, i've made plans that depend on me having that money....just hope I get the $600 now.

Got mine friday morning.

If It hasnt changed, its $600 per working adult, and $300 for each qualifying child. You had to have made more than $15k(I think) and less than $125k( Again, Im well into that range, so I could be mistaken, and didnt really think to remember it) and cant be claimed as a dependant on anyone elses return.

There was a little confusion on my part over the qualifying child. We never get earned income credit for all 3 children. Evidently that doesnt matter. They all qualify. So we got $2100. Credit unions FTW.

First I'd check with your bank and make sure that deposit is what you think it was. Then make sure there weren't some fees or something hid in there. Seriously...it's an economic stimulus check and you should get the full amount. No way it should come out to anything other than an even hundred amount.

This is what it says beside the amount that was deposited -

"External Deposit US TREASURY
220 - TAX REFUND"

So I think thats the right thing, I have nothing else to be deposited into my acct. right now.

Ready for this wonderful tidbit of information? If you filed your taxes with a 3rd party...like Turbo Tax, or even H&R Block and had the fees taken out of your refund, you are considered a paper check person.

I had the fees taken straight out of my refund instead of using my card, so even though I had it as direct deposit, since the IRS sent whomever the bank was that deposited my refund a paper check, I won't be seeing mine until July 4th. Yeah, that was great news for me since I needed that money for a clutch. HOpefully the current one lasts another 2 fucking months.

Gotta love our gov't. Even though my paperwork shows direct deposit, in their wonderful world of oz, they think it a better idea to mail me a check. I can imagine there are millions that filed this way, so that is a nice big chunk of change in postage that doesn't need to be spent...but luckily, our government has absolutely no grip on reality.)
