I'm completly lost on what you just said.:shrug:
I THINK you said your 92 diesel didnt come factory with a turbo but the person you bought it from installed one on it? So your looking for ways to increase fuel and boost?

step 1.....find out who the aftermarket supplier is of the kit....if its not a kit, figure out what parts the previous owner used...
step 2, if its a kit, research that company and see if they offer anything
step 3, if they used factory parts from a 7.3T find out what computer they used.....and research that....

You put diesel fuel in it instead of gas.

The one you have is an IDI engine, not powerstroke. Your best bet for setting it up would be to just swap over to the Powerstroke. There's a guy here at work that did it. But if you swap over to an early model 7.3 Powerstroke, you either will have to run it non-intercooled, or do some research and figure out how to intercool it either with aftermarket or stock style piping.

its easy to swap it over iv done 2 or 3 in my time lol

ok my cousin has a 94 pre power stroke it shouldn't be computer controlled you need to find the injector pump and there should be a screw somewhere (not sure on location of pump or screw i will ask him and get back to you) but they did have turbo 7.3 before 94. the only thing power stroke is computer controlled.

Computer controlled > Non-computer controlled
The ability for the computer to adapt makes things so much easier. The 7.3 powerstroke was the best diesel engine in a ford in a long time, probably ever. The 6.0 and 6.4 are both junk...international engines.
If you do wanna do a powerstroke swap, you'll probably need to find a trashed Powerstroke and swap everything over. It would be much easier that way. Try to find a 97 and up powerstroke too. Intercooled is the way to go :nice:

pre power stroke is easier to work on though and cheaper a turn of a screw fuel is turned up not much to them at all. now power stroke can defiantly put out more power but the older ones were built better. oh and all of fords diesels have been international.

7.3 Powerstroke wasnt an International I believe. I think that was the last one ford made

I do believe all of them have been International but I may be wrong.

7.3 is an international engine...
International=13 letter shit spreader=barnyard buick
Just go with what nasty said. I am sure you can find some good stuff out there from Banks or ATS that work good on non-computer controled diesels.
my 7.3 is a international turbo intercooled power stroke
