That testing doesn't seem like it would be accurate to me. Holding the sensors up in front of a bottle by hand?

I agree with Maxi, not the best documentation for a "test" either. I bought a PLX I don't regret it. Scott has used them for years with no problems and he has made some major hp with them for sustained periods of time ex. 1.8ltr made 550whp for around 2 years in a DD that went 11's (and it's still on the road) if AF had been off much it would have probably had problems by now. They also rated the display middle of the road when it's one of the easiest to read BIG numbers no frills. I think any of these manufacturers makes a great product pick more by features you want and which one looks good to you. I bought the R-300 for the ability to Data log 6 variables.

I dont see any real "bad" negatives at the way they done it. Its not like they were holding the sensor 5 feet away from the valve, once those valves are open and with the sensor pretty much in it like they had it, it should read fine.

I don't see how it could with the air diluting the gas.If they done it on a running car that would been one thing but holding it in front of it...lol. I also don't see how the readings can be off on them since they use the same sensor? I can understand calibration and yadada but on 2 brand new sensors they should have reacted the same in the same situation. I think its cool they tried but I wouldn't take those test results with a grain of salt.
I know several people using plx widebands running down in the 10's and 9's on 4g63 engines and if there a/f was off that much they would have a major problem.

Yeah I really doubt the PLX's are off almost an entire AFR point. You never know about the sensors that come with them though, just becuase its new doesnt mean its going to work perfect.

I love my AEM Unit, a whole lot better than my old AutoMeter Narrow Badn unit. Only thing I don't like about the AEM unit is it's very jumy on idle (Well my car does have a blown H/G). But I've heard that from a few other Neon guys as well. It does awesome crusing and all the way through boost, but never steady or near steady on idle. 70% of the time it says it goes too lean for the gauge to read (I also have major manifold leak between the manifold & head)

* I know there's a lot of crap wrong with the little Neon, new motor & manifold readyto go in when ever I get my ass on the ball and do it.

If you have a exhaust leak then its not accurate at all.

My neon used to idle at 14.6-14.7 without moving at all. Then I removed the cat and now it idles slightly richer but still consistent.
